Elder Holland's Visit

Well... It's MacKenzie, and I've been trying to get my mom to blog, but she's been too busy, so it's not going to happen!
Earlier this month, Elder Holland and his wife came and visited West Point, and it was such a neat experience! The morning he came, my dad and I attended a prayer breakfast that he held, and that night we all went to a fireside. He has such a strong spirit, and both of his talks moved us. Though the Hollands were visiting, us kids and our parents always LOVE it when we get together with the Lakes! Us older four hung out, and the younger ones played together all day! McKenna and I have become quite the "best buds" over the past few months, and I will be so sad to leave her and her adorable family! We had so much fun with them that day, and will never forget the warming experience we shared with them.

Rynn's Half Marathon in Central Park

On Nana's 60th birthday, I ran a half marathon. It was under the worst conditions ever -- torrential rain, wind, and 48˚-- but we did it! My friend Karin Cross and I ran our first half in 2008 and improved our time by 10 minutes today! I will truly miss running with Karin.

Kenzie's All-County

MacKenzie had her All-County Chorus concert on Saturday at Pine Bush High School. They sounded amazing. She got to spend time with Jaden Lake, her friend from Middletown Ward.
He has a super neat family! We've gotten to know Michele and Bryan over the past few months and we love them to death. We're really going to miss them when we move to Kansas.

Family Renion Part I

The Randall side of our family had one of the biggest reunions ever in our history last summer! We had a BLAST just being together at this family camp in Aspen Grove, Utah. The little "resort" was high up in the beautiful snow-capped mountains, located right at the base of Mount Timpanogas. The camp offered tons of opportunities for our families to have fun together, and that we did! Though the swimming pool, camp groups, rock-climbing walls, and volleyball courts kept us out all day, we really bonded and got a whole lot closer as a family. We love them all so much.

It's March already!

Well, we are already slacking!
Our blog says the last time we posted something was in November, and it's March! Officially, I'm trying to help my mom get into this whole blogging thing, and hopefully we'll be able to update it regularly. Our goal is to be able to keep in touch with all our family and friends out there that we miss and love. There are definitely more posts coming soon!
Take care everyone!
MacKenzie
